How to Use
1. Prep the Surface — Sand the wood or metal surface smooth and wipe away dust; spot-prime any bare metal to prevent rusting.
2. Stir Well — Stir the enamel thoroughly before use — do not shake, to avoid air bubbles in the finish.
3. Apply Thin, Even Coats — Brush on a thin, even coat of your chosen colour in the direction of the grain or surface.
4. Recoat After Drying — Let the first coat dry fully and lightly sand before applying a second coat for a smooth, glossy finish.
FAQ
Q: Can this be used directly on bare metal? A: Bare metal should be spot-primed first to prevent rusting and improve adhesion before applying the enamel topcoat.
Q: How many coats give the best finish? A: Two thin coats generally give a smoother, glossier finish than one thick coat, which can sag or show brush marks.
Q: Is my chosen colour available in every pack size? A: Most colours come in 500 ml, 1 Ltr and 4 Ltrs; Brilliant White is also available in 10 Ltrs and 20 Ltrs — check with Buildenza for other combinations.
