How to Use

1. Wrap Clockwise — Wrap 2-3 turns of tape clockwise around the male thread (the direction you'll be screwing the fitting in).

2. Press Into Grooves — Press the tape into the thread grooves so it sits flush, not bunched.

3. Thread & Tighten — Screw the fitting in hand-tight, then wrench-tighten a further 1-2 turns.

FAQ

Q: Which direction should I wrap the tape?
A: Clockwise, in the same direction you'll be threading the fitting in — wrapping the wrong way can unwind the tape as you tighten.

Q: How many wraps do I need?
A: 2-3 turns is standard for most threaded plumbing joints.
